Brent Halo

Brent was a mercenary, and was happy to be one. He served as a hired gun on the Outer Rim for several years before an incident changed his life forever. He had been part of a group of mercenaries sent to track down an outlaw’s base on the world of Dantooine, which had been raiding freighters in the shipping lines.

The group found the base, but with it a great many defending armoured men and droids. Surprised and then surrounded by the base's defenders, he and his fellow mercenaries would have been massacred if the Force had not suddenly awakened within him and given him the power needed to defeat his enemies. Following the battle, the group searched the base. In one of the lower levels, Brent came across a holding area, used as jail of sorts. It was pitch black inside but he sensed a presence in one of the cells. Breaking down the door he ventured in to find a battered and starved Wookie, manacled by the ankles and wrists to the wall. Brent could speak the language and immediately set about reassuring the Wookie that he was here to help and would set him free. He broke his bonds and helped the Wookie back to his ship whereupon he was given medical care to cure him of his wounds. The Wookie, named ‘Sall’, afforded Brent the highest gratitude he could by declaring a debt of honour that would be life long. They have since become close friends.

Brent was somewhat worried about his new powers, and sought out an old friend by the name of ‘Solace’, a young Jedi of some considerable prowess. The Jedi was able to remove the doubts and worries Brent had, and offered in time to teach him ways to control the Force for greater good. Solace had many connections, and introduced him to Senator Organa, whom he came to respect and in recent times has been in the employ of on several occasions.
