Rank 1 Duellists may add their Quickdraw skill to any initiative roll and may also use Quickdraw in the place of their Pistols Skill.

Rank 2 When engaged in a showdown, the Duellist can raise the TN by any value, not just multiples of five. He may still only Raise a number of times equal to his Luck.

Rank 3 The Duellist can spend more than one Luck Point when engaged in a showdown.

Rank 4 The Duellist can make two attack per turn.

Rank 5 At the beginning of combat before Initiative is rolled, the Duellist makes a Guts vs. Guts Contested Roll with his opponent. If he succeeds, he gains one attack before combat even begins. Usually the TN to hit a motionless target is 5.


Customize Your Character

Your character's Traits and Suits all begin at 2. You may spend 32 Character Points to customize your character.

As a Duellist you add +1 Reflexes and choose one from the following; +1 Awareness, +1 Agility or +1 Perception

You may spend points on Traits, Skills, or Advantages. You may gain additional Character Points by purchasing Disadvantages.


Character Point Cost

Raise a Trait: 8 CP

Raise Guts rating: 12 CP

Raise a Skill: 1CP


Determining Wounds

Multiply your character's Diamond by 2 and fill in each wound box with the number.


Determining Grit

Add your Suits and Guts Rating together and multiply by 10.

Add your skill points together.

Add the two totals. This is your starting Grit rating.
