Spell Engine Delta - Prolog Part II

From Black Country Role Playing Society

“Good evening Milord” Galtrix said obsequiously

“Harrumph…” Snorted the Robed figure “We shall see…”

Galtrex lead the lord up the same tower, where once again the lightning was flashing, the Robed figures eyes locked on the a symbol attached to the Warforged’s chest

“Onatar! Why does that heap of junk have the symbol of Onatar upon its chest?”

“It is a follower of the god of the forge” Replied Galtrex nervously

“A CLERIC! YOU MORON!”

“but you wanted a Warforged that could quickly repair other units…” Stammered the Mage-Smith

“WARFORGED UNITS!”

“He can do that, and he can heal flesh soldiers too”

“A trivial number of times per day!”

“He will improve with practice…”

The robed figured stepped forward and cuffed the Mage-Smith around the head.

“Forgive me Milord…I am so terribly sorry, I didn’t realise that you wanted a mage.”

“Guards! Throw this fool out of here. You can be someone else’s problem.”

“Please Milord, don’t part me from my work…” Stammered the Mage-Smith

“You have failed me twice, Nobody fails me three times. Take him away.”

The Guards dragged the protesting Mage-Smith off

“You!” The robed figure pointed at the Apprentice Mage-Smith

“Yes, Milord…” stammered the youngster

“Know how to make Warforged?”

“Of course Milord…”

“Make me a Warforged, same as this one only a wizard and suitable for the battlefield.”

“My pleasure, Milord.”

The Robed figure strode down the stairs in a state of high dudgeon .

“I wonder why he wants a Warforged Wizard with Adamatium Armour, surely that would bugger up his spell casting…”

Arcs of Lightning played over the surfaces of the lifeless Warforged.

“Oh well better make it an enchanter to fend off alls those nasty combatants…”
