Atmospheric Conditions: Human-Life-Supporting
The atmosphere is breathable to humans although filters are required for long term exposure. If a human spends more than 30 minutes without an air filter they start to feel weak and tired.
Hydrology: Predominantly Liquid
95% of the world is covered in vast oceans. A large variety of life lives in the seas. The Tsathoggua or "Tsaths" are crustaceans that grow to enormous size. They are harvested for various raw organic materials.
Topography: Naturally Rugged and/or Broken Terrain
There are no major land masses. Small archipelagos are numerous. The majority of the population live on the islands.
Tech Index: High
Although somewhat isolated from the Iron Empires the government have kept the techonology working. Noble estates drift across the oceans on massive anti-grav platform. Mile long ocean harvesters process the Tsaths for resources. One major spaceport in Necronomicon City provides the only registered arrival point for people off-world. Resources are lifted into orbit via 3 spave elevators, Abhoth, Barghest and Cthugua, which are located at the equator.
Dominant Form of Government: Noble Fief
The current ruler is the Autarch Samiel Bhaal. He is an unelected noble to ascended to the throne 20 years ago with the death of his father. Autarch Samiel Bhaals heir is his son Sameth, a Hammer Lord.
Factions
Slaves and Serfs
The serfs struggle away whiles the lords sit in their ivory towers. This is the common view and to be fair it is quite true. The off world labour is resented by the Reelay natives and neither group gets on. It is on the brutality if the government that keeps them in line.
Merchant League
New World Industries are the dominant corporation on Reelay. They are responsible for the majority of Tsath harvesting having eliminated much of the opposition over the years through an aggressive corporate strategy. The CEO is Edward Chandler.
Organized Crime
Cult Churches
The Cult of the Dark Abyss worship the Tsaths as gods. They are opposed to their harvesting and wish to see it stopped. August Derleth is their leader.
Rebel Line/ Royalists
The Pickman family are a group of disgrunteled nobles whose line was ousted from government several centuries ago by the current ruling elite. They are a decadent and debauched group and it is believed that they help fund a terrorist group "The Yellow Sign" whi wish to overthrow the Archon.
Predominant Military: Lords-Pilot
The Lords-Pilot control movement on and off planet, from the raw materials travelling to the orbital refineries to the incoming labour from off world. Large orbital satellites are ready to shoot down any offenders who do not conform to the strict traffic control routes and procedures.
Planetary Attitude Toward Vaylen: Paranoid
Primary Industry: Raw Materials
The harvested parts of the Tsaths are used for a great number of things. They are the primary export of the world and the processing is very time consuming.
